Urgently required –  Team Supervisor / Team lead Maintenance – Leading Japanese Based MNC – Sri city (TADA location) – Near Chennai

Qualification: B. Tech / Diploma

Location: Sri City. (AP)

Experience – 2 To 8 Years in (Automotive or Consumer / Wiring Harness Manufacturing)

 Key Responsibilities:

•                    Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.

•                    Ensure machines operate efficiently and breakdowns are minimized.

•                    Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and failures.

•                    Diagnose issues, carry out necessary repairs, and restore operations quickly.

•                    Monitor machine performance and identify inefficiencies.

•                    Recommend and implement improvements to enhance reliability and productivity.

•                    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.

•                    Ensure all documentation complies with safety and regulatory requirements.

•                    Coordinate with production teams for maintenance planning and execution.

•                    Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

•                    Maintain safe working conditions and support audits and inspections.

•                    Provide technical support to production and other departments.

•                    Assist in machine setup and resolve technical issues.

•                    Handle emergency breakdown situations and critical incidents effectively.

•                    Follow emergency protocols to minimize downtime and risk.

•                    Conduct root cause analysis of failures.

•                    Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

Essentials:

•                    Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field

•                    2–8 years of experience in the Maintenance Department (preferably in the Wire Harness industry)

•                    Strong knowledge of machines and applicators

•                    Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

•                    Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems

•                    Understanding of safety standards and compliance

•                    Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
