HD Management Consultant

Urgently required –  Team Supervisor, Warehouse / SCM– Leading Japanese Based MNC – Sri city (TADA location) – Near Chennai

Designation: Team Supervisor / Team Lead – Maintenance

Department: Quality  

Qualification: Any Degree

Location: Sri City. (AP)

Experience – 4 To 6 Years in any manufacturing industry

 

 

 Key Responsibilities:

                    Supervise and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and smooth workflow.

                    Oversee receiving, storage, distribution, and maintenance activities in line with operational requirements.

                    Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

                    Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring high accuracy of stock records and system data.

                    Conduct periodic audits and manage physical inventory counts to identify and resolve discrepancies.

                    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Quality) to enhance overall supply chain performance.

                    Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and digital tools to optimize operations and reporting.

                    Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen / Lean) to increase productivity and eliminate waste.

                    Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting regular audits and promoting EHS best practices.

                    Train, mentor, and develop team members to build a skilled and high-performing workforce.

                    Maintain accurate documentation, ensure material traceability, and support internal and external audit requirements.

 

Essentials:

• Diploma or Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum 4 years of experience in store/warehouse operations.

• Basic knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and material handling.

• Familiarity with documentation processes (GRN, issue slips, stock registers).

• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO and basic warehouse practices.

• Knowledge of safety standards and proper storage procedures.

• Good coordination and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
