Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Robotic Programmer with hands-on experience in industrial robot programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. KUKA robot programming experience is preferred. Candidates with FANUC or ABB robot programming experience can also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop, modify, and optimize programs for industrial robots.

·       Perform robot programming, teaching, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

·       Work on robotic automation projects involving pick & place, handling, welding, assembly, machine tending, etc.

·       Conduct robot teaching and coordinate robot movements with PLCs and other automation equipment.

·       Troubleshoot robot-related issues during commissioning and production.

·       Support installation, testing, and commissioning of robotic automation systems at customer sites.

·       Modify existing robot programs based on production/process requirements.

·       Coordinate with the PLC/Automation team for integration of robots with machines and peripheral equipment.

·       Ensure safe and efficient operation of robotic systems.

·       Prepare basic documentation related to robot programs and commissioning activities.

·       Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as required.

Required Skills

·       2+ years of relevant experience in industrial robotic programming.

·       Strong hands-on experience in KUKA robot programming – preferred.

·       FANUC or ABB robot programming experience will also be considered.

·       Knowledge of robot teaching, jogging, calibration, and troubleshooting.

·       Understanding of PLC-robot communication and automation systems.

·       Ability to read and understand electrical/automation drawings.

·       Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Candidate

·       Experience in industrial automation / robotic automation.

·       Exposure to automotive industries.

·       Candidates who have independently handled robot programming and commissioning will be preferred.

Note: KUKA experience is the first preference; however, candidates with strong hands-on experience in FANUC or ABB can also be considered
