Job Description

*Should have must be from Manufaturing /Automotive Manufacturing Industry*

*Key Responsibilities*

1.Coordinate daily dispatches as per production and sales schedules.

2.Arrange vehicles for inbound and outbound shipments.

3.Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely deliveries.

4.Follow up with transporters regarding shipment status.

5.Resolve transportation-related issues promptly.

6.Coordinate with warehouse personnel for loading and unloading activities.

7.Ensure materials are dispatched as per FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.

8.Verify quantity and condition of materials before dispatch.

9.Support inventory movement between warehouses and production units

10.Prepare and maintain dispatch documents, delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, LR copies, and transport records.

11.Maintain accurate logistics records and filing systems.

12.Ensure all statutory logistics documentation is complete and compliant

13.Liaise with transporters for vehicle availability and freight negotiations (as directed).

14.Maintain transporter performance records.

15.Coordinate with external logistics service providers for smooth operations.

16.Assist in monitoring inventory movement and stock transfers.

17.Report discrepancies in received or dispatched materials.

18.Coordinate with stores and production departments for material requirements

19.Update daily dispatch reports.

20.Maintain logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, vehicle utilization, freight costs, and dispatch status.

21.Prepare weekly and monthly logistics reports for management

22.Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.

23.Follow safety procedures during loading and unloading activities.

24.Report accidents, delays, damages, or shortages immediately.
