Job Description

*Should have experience in Battery Manufacturing Industry*

*Key Responsibilities:*

*Production Planning & Execution*

1.Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.

2.Ensure achievement of production targets in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.

3.Optimize manpower, machines, and materials for maximum efficiency.

*Shop Floor Management*

1,Supervise and control end-to-end production processes.

2.Ensure smooth functioning of assembly lines / battery manufacturing processes.

3.Monitor production parameters and take corrective actions.

*Quality Assurance*

1.Ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs.

2.Coordinate with QA/QC teams to minimize rejections and defects.

3.Drive initiatives for zero defect and continuous quality improvement.

*Continuous Improvement*

1.Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM practices.

2.Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.

3.Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

*Team Management*

1.Lead, train, and motivate a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators.

2.Ensure proper manpower deployment and shift management.

3.Conduct performance evaluations and skill development programs.

*Safety & Compliance*

1.Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

2.Promote safe working practices on the shop floor.

3.Ensure compliance with statutory and internal audits.

*Coordination & Reporting*

1.Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Planning teams.

2.Prepare and present production MIS reports, KPIs, and analysis.

3.Report daily production status to senior management.

*Required Qualifications*

1.Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering.

2.Minimum 10–15 years of experience in production/manufacturing operations.

3.Experience in Lead-Acid Battery / Lithium-Iron Battery manufacturing preferred.

*Skills & Competencies*

1.Strong knowledge of production processes and shop floor management.

2.Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and process improvement tools.

3.Leadership and team handling skills.

4.Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

5.Good communication and coordination skills
