Reporting to : Head of Centers of Excellence
Qualification : Ph.D. in Electrochemistry or Chemical engineering or Materials science with
research focus on batteries
Experience : 8+ Years (Li-ion Battery R&D)
Salary : 30.00 LPA
*Should have good experience in Li-ion Battery Cell Development*
*JD:*
1.Lead the anode chemistry design & development efforts throughout the product development cycle and launch electrode into production
2.Define anode chemistry design to meet specific cell requirements
3.Work with supply chain team, product development team, process engineering team, and other chemistry development teams to develop best performing and cost-effective anode.
4.Optimize the electrode composition and electrode processing to improve the electrochemical performance
5.Define specifications for materials and electrodes
6.Build supply chain sustainability via diversification and localization
7.Perform tear downs to identify failure modes and prepare reports
8.Assist the production team in defining manufacturing processes.
9.Use the company’s document and change control system to properly archive technical documentation
10.Work closely, collaboratively, and effectively with other departments and team members
11.Communicate the material development updates to internal & external stake holders
*Experience:*
•Significant Experience in anode chemistry design & development for different customer applications
• Experience in taking the anode chemistry from design phase to launch phase
• In-depth knowledge of Li-ion battery cell operation, performance and failure modes.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
