Manager – Paint Shop MNC for Bhiwadi Location

Job Description

*Should have good experience in Lighting / Eectricals / Interiors Compontents*

*Responsibilities*

1.Manage day-to-day paint shop production activities to achieve production targets.

2.Supervise powder coating, liquid painting, baking, curing, and surface finishing processes.

3.Ensure proper pretreatment processes such as degreasing, phosphating, and cleaning.

4.Monitor paint consumption, process parameters, and line efficiency.

5.Ensure paint quality standards related to thickness, adhesion, gloss, texture, and finish.

6.Reduce paint defects such as orange peel, blistering, pinholes, scratches, and shade variation.

7.Coordinate with Quality department for inspections and corrective actions.

8.Optimize paint shop productivity, cycle time, and material utilization.

9.Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

10.Improve transfer efficiency and reduce paint wastage.Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of paint booths, ovens, conveyors, compressors, and related equipment.

11.Ensure calibration and proper functioning of paint shop instruments and systems.

12.Ensure compliance with EHS standards, pollution control norms, and safety regulations.

13.Monitor handling and storage of paints, chemicals, and hazardous materials.

14.Conduct safety training and ensure proper PPE usage.

15.Maintain housekeeping and safe working conditions in the paint shop area.

16.Lead and supervise operators, technicians, and shift manpower.

17.Conduct skill development and training programs for employees.

18.Prepare daily production and quality MIS reports.

19.Maintain process records, SOPs, work instructions, and audit documentation.

20.Support internal and external audits related to quality, safety, and environment.

*Required Skills*

1.Strong knowledge of powder coating and liquid painting processes.

2.Expertise in: Pretreatment systems/ Surface finishing techniques/ Paint quality standards/ Paint defect analysis/ OEE improvement/ Lean Manufacturing & 5S

3.Good understanding of paint shop equipment and utilities.

4.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

5.Knowledge of EHS and pollution control standards
