Engineer – PE (Formation) for Telangana Location

Job Description

*Should have good experience in Lithium-Ion Batteries.*

*Role & Responsibilities:*

1. Perform all formation and testing operations on lithium-ion batteries.

2. Assist in the specification, procurement and qualification of equipment including lab, pilot, and manufacturing plants

3. Improve/modify processes to allow integration of advanced materials into battery cell designs

4. Create detailed work instructions and train technicians on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.

5. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for all aspects of electrode fabrication processes

6. Work with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturing and design requirements are compatible

7. Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop execution plans for solutions for bothdesigns and processes

8. Accurately forecast task and project timelines to execute project plans

9. Manage inventory of chemicals, powders, foils, cell components.

10. Collaborate effectively with the cross-functional teams and lead the project to successful completion

*Experience & Skills :*

• Experience with formation and testingof lithium-ion batteries

• Knowledge of lithium-ion batterymaterials and performance metrics.

• Knowledge on Six sigma methodology

• Engineering process experience (otherindustries also welcome)

• Knowledge of AI/ML and Big DataMining and Analytics

• Knowledge on Python programming,MATLAB….

• Knowledge on 2D & 3D
