Engineer – PE (Cell Assembly) for Divitipally, Telangana Location

Job Description

*Should habe experience in Sheet Metal / Press Tool Industry*

*Role & Responsibilities:*

1.Lead and execute lithium-ion cell assembly processes for cylindrical, prismatic, and pouch cells.

2.Oversee electrode preparation for assembly including notching, stacking/winding, and tab welding.

3.Manage critical assembly operations such as winding/stacking, cell insertion, electrolyte filling, sealing, and crimping.

4.Drive process scale-up from lab to pilot and production lines while ensuring quality, throughput, and repeatability.

5.Assist in specification, procurement, installation, and qualification of cell assembly equipment.

6.Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for equipment and process issues in assembly lines.

*Experience & Skills :*

1.Experience in large-scale lithium-ion battery manufacturing

2.Strong understanding of cell design and assembly-performance relationship

3.Knowledge of dry room operations and

moisture control techniques

4.Exposure to automation in assembly lines

5.Knowledge of AI/ML, data analytics for process optimization

6.Programming skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.
