Job Description

Responsible for maintaining harmonious employee relations, handling statutory compliance,

welfare activities, union/workmen matter, disciplinary processes, and managing general affairs

activities to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Industrial Relations (IR):

* Maintain healthy industrial relations and positive work environment.

* Handle workmen grievances, disciplinary matters, and employee counselling.

* Ensure compliance with labour laws, standing orders, and company policies.

* Manage domestic inquiries, warning letters, charge sheets, and disciplinary

documentation.

* Coordinate with labour department, government authorities, and legal representatives.

* Monitor absenteeism, attrition, misconduct, and workforce discipline.

* Support contract labour management and compliance.

* Assist during audits, inspections, and statutory submissions.

* Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and reports.

* Liaise with Factory Inspector, Labour Department, and other authorities.

* Support audits, inspections, and legal compliance reviews.

2. Welfare Activities:

* Assist in maintaining cordial relations between management and employees/workmen.

* Help resolve shop-floor issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.

* Coordinate with EHS team on health camps, safety awareness, and employee wellness

initiatives.

* Liasoning with Govt. officials, interactions, wage settlements, and negotiation

processes.

* Support emergency preparedness and first-aid awareness programs.

* Ensure compliance with Factory Act provisions related to welfare.

* Ensure implementation of statutory welfare provisions as per applicable labour and

factory laws.

* Address employee grievances related to welfare facilities and workplace concerns.

* Promote employee well-being, morale, and engagement activities.

* Counsel employees on personal, social, and workplace matters when required.

* Support employee communication and awareness programs.

 Required Skills:
