Sr. Executive – Coating Machine Operator cum Lab Assistant MNC for Gurgaon Location

*Job Description:-*

1.Must operate the pilot scale coating machine whenever it is required. This involves Loading materials, setting up coating machines, running production batches, and ensuring machine efficiency. The person must be familiar with coating machines (Gravure / Mayer Rod / Knife Coating)

2.Sampling of production batches, conducting quality tests i.e. Coating GSM, Visual coating defect inspection, thickness, adhesion, Heat seal strength testing using various laboratory equipment. The person must be familiar with UTM (Seal Strength Testing), GSM balance, Thickness gauge, Dyne pens (surface energy testing)

3.Core Skills – Coating technology (especially for packaging substrates), Heat seal lacquer behaviour and performance, Substrate understanding like Paper absorbency and Aluminium foil / metallized layer sensitivity

4.The Person should be aware of Troubleshooting (Identify and resolve) of Curling / warping of paper, coating non-uniformity, Delamination issues, tension related issue and able to find the Root cause like issue related to Machine conditions or Material.

5.Person must have experience in Machine Maintenance – Routine machine checks, Coating head cleaning, Dryer calibration, roll alignment and prevent issues such as Streak formation, uneven application

6.Prepare samples of Polymers, films, paper, and coatings for testing

7.Maintain all laboratory records.

8.Comply with the correct procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations.

9.Document all activities, and results and report back to management.

10.Clean and sterilize equipment and work area.

11.Classify and label samples.

12.Management of raw materials and timely procurement of raw materials.

13.Undertake basic administrative tasks such as filing and answering telephones.
