Sr. Engineer -Quality & Customer

Job Description

Should have experience in the Heat Exchanger / HVAC / Air Conditioning industry.

JD
Quality Assurance & Control:-
1.Implement and monitor quality systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001).
2.Conduct in-process and final inspections of products and ensure compliance with specifications.
3.Analyze non-conformities and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

Process & Product Quality:-
1.Monitor critical quality parameters in manufacturing.
3.Support new product development (NPD) through PPAP.
4.Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) and prepare related documentation.

Problem Solving & Improvements:-
1.Conduct root cause analysis using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone and Why-Why Analysis.
2.Drive continual improvement projects (Kaizen).
3.Ensure implementation of mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke) solutions.

Customer Quality & Support:-
1.Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
2.Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements (CSR).
3.Participate in customer audits and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Documentation & Reporting:-
1.Maintain inspection records, audit reports, and quality dashboards.
2.Prepare monthly MIS and present to management.
3.Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Key Skill requirement:
1.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
2.Proficiency in quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA.
3.Hands-on experience with root cause analysis & problem-solving.
4.Good understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., Roll Bond, Frost Free & Wire on tube condenser)
5.Strong analytical and communication skills.
6.Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
