*Key Responsibilities*
1.Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors for sheet metal, and purchased components.
2.Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and technical evaluations.
3.Develop alternate sources to reduce supply risks and improve competitiveness.
4.Handle RFQ, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and cost analysis.
5.Drive cost reduction, localization, VA/VE, and productivity improvement initiatives.
6.Coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, and Purchase teams for new part development.
7.Monitor supplier performance related to Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD).
8.Ensure compliance with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, 8D, and other quality requirements.
9.Resolve supplier quality issues through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
10.Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL) and supplier performance scorecards.
11.Support new product development (NPD) and engineering change implementation.
12.Track tooling, fixture, and sample development activities at supplier locations.
13.Ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules.
14.Prepare vendor development reports, MIS, and management presentations.
