*QMS & Compliance*
1.Lead and maintain QMS certifications of IATF 16949:2016 standards and strict Customer-Specific Requirements.
2.Strong Hand in implementation of automotive Core Tools across the plant: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
3.Ensure comprehensive documentation and version control for manufacturing procedures, control plans, and process flows.
4.Plan and conduct internal system, process, and product audits (including VDA 6.3 and Layered Process Audits).
5.Manage external audits by certifying bodies and major Tier 1 (NVH India, KML, BSL, TS Tech etc) or OEM customers (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Honda Cars, Hyundai, KIA, Toyota).
6.Enforce root cause analysis (using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams) for internal defects and customer rejections.
*Customer Quality & Support Interface*
1.Act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer complaints and addressing feedbacks.
2.Monitor supplier quality, guiding the supply chain to resolve raw material non-conformances.
3.Manage key Quality KPIs, including PPM (Parts Per Million) and Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing) implementation.
4.Cultivate a zero-defect culture on the shop floor by leading Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
5.Lead, train, and mentor quality engineers and inspectors across multiple shifts.
6.Track and report the COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) to plant leadership and implement mitigating corrective actions.
*Recruitment:*
1.Certifications: Lead Auditor certification for IATF 16949 is highly preferred, alongside Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
