Job Description

*Key Responsibilities*

1.Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

2.Ensure timely inspection, servicing, and repair of all machinery and equipment.

3.Maintain maintenance records, logs, and equipment history.

4.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.

5.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.

6.Implement corrective actions to reduce future breakdowns

7.Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team.

8.Allocate daily work assignments and monitor performance.

9.Conduct training and skill development programs for technicians

10.Ensure optimum performance and reliability of all plant assets.

11.Monitor equipment efficiency and recommend upgrades or replacements.

12.Manage calibration and maintenance of critical equipment.

13.Oversee maintenance of electrical systems, DG sets, HVAC, compressors, pumps, water supply systems, firefighting systems, and other utilities.

14.Ensure uninterrupted utility services for plant operations.

15.Ensure compliance with all safety standards and statutory regulations.

16.Conduct safety inspections and promote safe work practices.

17.Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

18.Coordinate statutory inspections and certifications.

19.Maintain optimum inventory levels of critical spare parts.

20.Coordinate procurement of maintenance materials and consumables.

21.Monitor vendor performance and service quality.

22.Drive TPM, Lean Maintenance, and Kaizen initiatives.

23.Improve equipment availability, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).

24.Participate in plant improvement and expansion projects.
