Head – Production (Machining)

Job Description

Job Responsibilty:

1. Responsible for ensuring systematic and operational processes are adhered to all Production -Machining. 

2. Ensuring requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner. 

3. Key stakeholders are kept informed of Production management changes news.  

4. Collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues within the region ensuring escalations and open topics are being regularly reviewed and progressed

Your Experience and Qualification

1. Planning and execution of CT improvement actions.

2. Total ownership of WIP and optimization of line Inventory (WIP reduction). 

3. Operator training and development (Safety and Process knowledge). 

4. Layout improvements to utilize optimum resources.

5. Monitoring and improving the energy cost per piece.

6. Monitoring and improving the conversion cost per piece. 

7. Compliance to IATF and Iso 14k, ISO 51K standards / Procedures / Check sheets. 

8. Implementation of Continuous Improvement Program. 

9. Product and Process data recording and Analysis (Critical to Quality).

10. Set Up change management and improvement in set up time (Last part ok to First part Ok time)

11. Machine tooling and Fixture management and driving improvement plan. 

12. Supporting Maintenance to Make ZERO Leakage shop floor (close co-ordination).

13. Monitoring of Critical / special processes (Compliance to Customer as well as Quality / IATF Requirement).

14. Co-Ordination with Planning / Engineering for NPD.

15. Co-Ordination with Planning / Logistic / Sales for monthly part delivery.

16. Training and Development of team members to equip them with required skills

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

1. Fluent written and spoken English. 

2. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. 

3. Excellent administration skills. 

4. Basic understanding of IT principles. 

5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 

6. Excellent communication skills. 

7. Customer focused and results oriented. 

8. Responsible and organized. 

9. Logical thinker. 

10. Passion to learn new concepts, technologies, and processes. 

11. Attention to detail.
