Head of Quality, Coimbatore

Job Description

• Develop and implement a company-wide quality vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 45001, 9001, and other relevant standards.
• Champion Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and Lean initiatives.
• Education – Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical, Production Automotive, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience – 15–20 years in automotive quality, with leadership experience
• Certifications – Six Sigma Black Belt, Lead Auditor (ISO/IATF), TQM preferred
• Technical Skills – PFMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, Control Plans
• Soft Skills – Strategic thinking, leadership, communication, problem-solving

Success Metrics

• Reduction in customer complaints and warranty costs
• Improved supplier quality performance
• Achievement of zero-defect delivery targets
• Enhanced employee engagement in quality initiatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
