*Required Qualifications & Experience*

1.Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).

2.Minimum 12–18+ years in precision machining for auto/auto components; at least 5+ years leading multi-line CNC shops.

3.Deep knowledge of materials: cast iron (GG/SG), steel (alloy/CMn), aluminum (HPDC/gravity), and related machining behavior.

4.Hands-on with:

5.CNC Programming & Optimization (Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain), CAM exposure (Mastercam/Edgecam/HyperMill).

6.GD&T, APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, SPC (X̄ R, Cp/Cpk), MSA, 8D/PSR.

7.Lean/TPM/Kaizen, SMED, Poka Yoke, Andon.

8.Metrology (CMM programming/interpretation), gage R&R, calibration systems.

*Preferred Certifications*

1.Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Lean Leader/Kaizen Practitioner.

2.IATF 16949 Internal Auditor, TPM Practitioner, IOSH/NEBOSH exposure for EHS.

*Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)*

1.Safety: TRIR, near miss closure rate, audit scores, LOTO compliance.

2.Quality: In process & customer PPM, FPY/RTY, capability indices (Cp/Cpk), audit NC closures on time.

3.Delivery: OEE, on time delivery (OTD), schedule adherence, lead time, WIP.

4.Cost: Cost/part, tooling cost per component, energy/unit, scrap & rework cost.

5.People: Skill matrix coverage, training hours per FTE, attrition/absenteeism, Kaizen participation.

*Tools, Systems & Technologies*

1.CNC/Automation: Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain controls; HMC/VMC/Turn mill; SPMs; robots/gantries.

2.Software: ERP/MES (SAP/Infor/Oracle), SPC tools (Minitab/Q DAS), CAM (Mastercam/Edgecam), CMM software (PC DMIS/Calypso).

3.Lean/Problem Solving: A3, 8D, DMAIC, VSM, Kanban, Heijunka.
