Job Description

*Job Responsibilities:*

1.Develop and manage master production schedules based on sales forecasts, material availability, and capacity planning

2.Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization

3.Monitor and adjust production schedules to accommodate demand fluctuations, machine downtime, or supply delays

4.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, SCM, and Sales for smooth execution of production plans

5.Ensure availability of BOM materials as per schedule, coordinating closely with procurement and store teams

6.Drive capacity planning, identifying constraints and taking corrective action in advance

7.Review and analyze production reports, OEE data, and MES output to track performance against plans

8.Identify areas of process improvement in planning and scheduling to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times

9.Support new product introductions and engineering change management by aligning production timelines and capacity

10.Lead or participate in daily production review meetings, updating stakeholders on planning status and action items

11.Maintain planning-related documentation and ensure data accuracy within SAP and MES systems

*Key Skills & Knowledge:*

1.Deep knowledge of production planning principles, including MRP, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing

2.Proficiency in SAP (PP module) and MES platforms for production tracking

3.Understanding of manufacturing workflows, takt time, bottleneck analysis, and WIP control

4.Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and handle dynamic shop floor environments

5.Hands-on experience in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for missed schedules or variances
