*Job Responsibilities:*
1.Schedule the supply of materials and components to meet production requirements while maintaining minimum safety stock levels.
2.Conduct raw material planning using the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
3.Manage imported raw material planning and coordinate to ensure timely customs clearance.
4.Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate material flow processes from suppliers to the point of use.
5.Assess volume requirements against demand forecasts and planning assumptions.
6.Manage daily purchase order follow-up and monitor supplier deliveries.
7.Identify and mitigate supply risks to minimize any impact on the production schedule.
8.Follow up on material shortages and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
9.Implement material planning processes in line with agreed standards and KPIs while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
10.Maintain accurate master data in the ERP/MRP system, including BOM, lead times, MOQ, safety stock, and planning parameters.
11.Monitor the integrity of Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure inventory accuracy.
12.Monitor inventory levels to achieve inventory targets while preventing stock-outs and excess inventory.
13.Minimize excess and obsolete inventory through effective planning and corrective actions.
14.Generate regular reports and analyze inventory, material availability, shortages, and KPIs.
15.Maintain strong coordination with the logistics team for timely shipment clearance.
16.Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure timely material availability.
17.Prepare and communicate supplier delivery schedules and material forecasts to support production requirements.
18.Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN), BOM revisions, and phase-in/phase-out material management.
19.Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and inventory control procedures.
*Key Skills & Knowledge:*
1.Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
2.Good understanding of inventory management principles, including Safety Stock, Reorder Point, and Inventory Turnover.
3.Knowledge of BOM management, Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO), and Production Planning.
4.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
5.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
6.Commercial and financial awareness, with an understanding of inventory carrying costs and production impact.
7.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
8.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies is preferred.
9.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
