Engineer – (Quality Laboratory) MNC for Neemrana Location

Job Description

*Should have good Experience in Fastener/ Automotive Industry*

*Responsibilities*

​1.Perform inspection and measurement of components as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

2.Operate and handle precision inspection equipment, including: Profile Projector, Contour Tester / Contour Measuring Machine, Hardness Tester (Rockwell, Vickers, as applicable)

3.Check critical dimensions, profiles, radii, angles, contours, and other specified parameters.

4.Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and inspection standards.

5.Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate measurement records.

6.Ensure measuring instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and handled.

7.Identify non-conforming components and report deviations to the concerned department.

8.Support first-piece, in-process, final, and sample inspections as required.

9.Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment records, and calibration status.

10.Follow applicable quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.

11.Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve measurement and quality-related issues.

*Required Skills*

1.Hands-on experience with Profile Projector, Contour Tester, and Hardness Tester.

2.Good knowledge of dimensional inspection and metrology.

3.Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and GD&T.

4.Knowledge of limits, fits, tolerances, and surface/profile measurements.

5.Ability to prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation.

6.Good attention to detail and analytical skills.

7.Knowledge of calibration and basic measurement-system practices will be an advantage.
