Job Description

*Should have good experience in Automotive / Manufacturing Industry*

*Key Responsibilities*

• Manager-level ownership of plant accounting operations, team leadership, controls and reporting.

• Candidates have vital exposure in finalization of Balance Sheet

*Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP / AR):*

• Lead end-to-end AP and AR operations including invoice processing, vendor/customer reconciliations, ageing review, payment/collection follow-up, and resolution of accounting discrepancies.

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting and maintain strong financial controls.

*GST & Tax Compliance:*

Oversee GST-related accounting, reconciliations, input tax credit validation, and coordination for GST returns and statutory requirements.

Ensure timely closure of tax-related queries and maintain proper supporting documentation.

*MIS, Reporting & Business Accounting:*

-Prepare and review monthly MIS, P&L, cash-flow inputs, ageing reports, and management dashboards for the plant/unit.

-Analyse actuals vs. budget, identify variances, and provide actionable accounting insights to management.

*Inventory & Fixed Assets Management:*

-Lead inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, physical verification, valuation, and investigation of variances.

-Oversee fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, asset register maintenance, physical verification, and CAPEX controls.

*Import, Audit & Financial Controls:*

-Manage finance activities related to imports, including Bill of Entry (BOE) accounting, reconciliation, documentation, and coordination with relevant teams.

-Lead/coordinate internal, statutory and tax audit requirements, ensuring schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents are accurate and submitted on time.

-Drive month-end closing, SOP compliance, and internal financial controls.

*If any other Quality / Qualification / Certification required*

1.Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems

2.MS Excel; strong MIS/reporting skills; good understanding of GST, AP/AR

3.Inventory, fixed assets, imports/BOE and audit processes.
