Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the inspection team to ensure machining quality standards.
Conduct inspection of CNC machined components and identify defects or deviations.
Analyze machining defects and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for Machine Shop quality processes.
Train production personnel on quality procedures and inspection techniques.
Conduct Internal Quality Audits and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement quality enhancement initiatives.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
Prepare quality reports and present improvement status to management.
Ensure effective implementation of quality control systems and continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of CNC Turning, VMC, Broaching, and Automatic Lathe (ALT) machining processes.
Good understanding of Quality Control, Inspection Standards, and GD&T.
Hands-on experience with IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, 5 Why, and Kaizen methodologies.
Experience in Product Inspection, Process Audits, and Quality Documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Good planning, time management, and organizational abilities.
Leadership and team handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
