Assistant Manager – EHS Gujarat

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead EHS activities for greenfield plant setup and project execution.

Implement Environment, Health & Safety systems as per statutory requirements.

Conduct HIRA, JSA, Risk Assessment, and implement corrective actions.

Develop and manage Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, Machine Guarding, SOPs, and PPE compliance.

Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, applicable State Factory Rules, and statutory safety regulations.

Manage Fire & Emergency Response Systems, including hydrants, sprinklers, mock drills, and evacuation planning.

Conduct safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, RCA, and CAPA implementation.

Drive contractor safety management, toolbox talks, and employee safety training.

Implement and maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems and support certification audits.

Promote a strong safety culture through awareness programs, safety committees, and continuous improvement initiatives.
