Job Description

1. To ensure that receiving parts inspection done as per Inspection standards.

2. Evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement.

3. Work with supplier directly, create corrective action plan to address process failure.

4. Verify the child parts rejection PPM and do brain storming on rejection/rework and take corrective and preventive action from supplier.

5. To ensure 100% adherence to quality system during manufacturing.

6. Raise/make the 8D/A3 sheet against in-process complaints /customer complaints & ensure to updating of Q-chart.

7. Verify the rework/rejection register for Incoming parts.

8. Planning and Execution of supplier System Audit, Process Audit, SOC audit & Product audit.

9. Perform Part Layout inspection as per the plan.

10. Manage Outsourcing material testing as per the plan. I.e. Chemical, Mechanical and ELV testing.

11. Participate in cross-functional team in the development of new product.

12. Prepare/Represent monthly MIS data with managements.

13. Provide training to quality Inspector, operator for any quality issue.

14. SAP activities i.e. Quality conformity on daily basis and purchase requisition for material procurement.

15. Person should have basic knowledge about mail communication with supplier or internal team for any quality concern.

16. Person should participate in IATF and VSA audit.

*KEY COMPETENCIES NEEDED* :

1. Knowledge of All Type Measuring Instruments, welding & stamping process

2. Knowledge of Jig/Fixture and all type of gauges.

3. Knowledge of GD & CT, CTQ parameters, Kaizen, Poka yoke, & 7QC tool etc.

4. Knowledge of PPAP

5. Initiate CAR-V in case of any ECN and get approval from the customer.

6. Spec. meeting data preparation for new products.

*Execution of NPD meetings:-*

1. Plan and facilitate internal meetings with all CFT members (Project Kick off meeting, NPD project schedule meeting etc.)

2. Tracking follow-up and closure of meeting

*KEY COMPETENCIES NEEDED:*

1. Strong knowledge of core tools i.e. APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC & AIAG VDA FMEA.

2. Able to work in shift.

3. Excellent communication skill in English (in both written and verbal)

4. Excellent understanding of IATF 16949/ISO 9001/ ISO14001.

5. Ability to present data effectively.

6. Problem solving skill.

7. Analytical skill and knowledge of measurement.

8. Team working skills.

9. Understanding of drawing and manufacturing process i.e. Sheet forming, MIG, TIG and spot welding process.

10. Relevant experience with SMG suppliers would be preferable
