1. *New Product Quality Planning* :-
• Lead APQP activities for new products from RFQ to SOP (Start of Production).
• Prepare Master plan as per the APQP matrix and align all the data as per defined timeline.
• Prepare and maintain Control plans, Process Flow Diagrams and PFMEA.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and process engineering teams to incorporate preventive quality measures during design and development phases.
2. *Supplier & In-house quality coordination* .
• Collaborate with Supplier for PPAP, quality documentation and sample approval.
• Validate incoming components and materials for new projects.
• Conduct initial process audits for new supplier parts or internal setups.
3. *Trial, validation & Qualification* .
• Coordinate and monitor product/process trials (e.g. Inspection of Initial production run, MSA, Process capability studies).
• Prepare and review inspection standards, gauges and quality plans.
• Drive product validation testing in line with customer and quality requirement.
4. *Documentation & Compliance* .
• Prepare and maintain all quality documentation: – Control plans, PPAP, Inspection reports etc. as per AIAG and customer specific requirement.
• Ensure compliance to customer specific requirement and standard (IATF 16949, ISO 9001 etc.).
5. *Problem-solving & Continuous Improvement* .
• Lead problem-solving activities using 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why analysis etc. for any early stage quality issue.
• Implement lessons learned from previous projects to prevent recurrence.
6. *Customer internal activities* .
• Conduct customer audits and trials (E.g. Process audit, LVPT, HVPT trials within set KPI target) and take countermeasure against observation.
• Initiate CAR-V in case of any ECN and get approval from the customer.
• Spec. meeting data preparation for new products.
7. *Execution of NPD meetings* :-
• Plan and facilitate internal meetings with all CFT members (Project Kick off meeting, NPD project schedule meeting etc.)
• Tracking follow-up and closure of meeting
*KEY COMPETENCIES NEEDED* :
1. Strong knowledge of core tools i.e. APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC & AIAG VDA FMEA.
2. Able to work in shift.
3. Excellent communication skill in English (in both written and verbal)
4. Excellent understanding of IATF 16949/ISO 9001/ ISO14001.
5. Ability to present data effectively.
6. Problem solving skill.
7. Analytical skill and knowledge of measurement.
8. Team working skills.
9. Understanding of drawing and manufacturing process i.e. Sheet forming, MIG, TIG and spot welding process.
10. Relevant experience with SMG suppliers would be preferable
