Project Manager (Control Systems & Automation/AMR/AGV)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in control system design and PLC-based automation to lead end-to-end project execution. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, coordinate with vendors, prepare cost-effective solutions, and ensure seamless execution of on-site activities. This role requires both technical depth and project management capability to deliver high-quality automation solutions within time and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
• RFQ Understanding
Data Collection
Control System Design: Develop and review automation control system designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• PLC Control Knowledge: Apply strong understanding of PLC programming, integration, and troubleshooting for industrial automation systems.
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Prepare detailed project timelines, milestones, and schedules; monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor interactions, from request for quotations to final supply, ensuring quality, cost, and lead-time compliance.
• BOM & Documentation: Prepare and validate Bill of Materials (BOM), technical documentation, and drawings required for execution.
• Costing & Budgeting: Estimate costs, prepare offers, and manage budgets to ensure project profitability.
• On-Site Coordination: Oversee and control installation, commissioning, and handover activities at customer sites.
• Team Development: Conduct training sessions, mentor team members, and drive continuous upskilling of project resources.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in control system design and PLC automation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (timeline management, scheduling, cost control).
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience in on-site project execution and coordination.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Leadership skills with ability to train and upskill team members.

Preferred Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation / control system projects.
• Exposure to robotics, motion control, or AMR systems will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with tools like MS Project for scheduling and project planning
