Job Description

Should have experience in the Heat Exchanger / HVAC / Air Conditioning industry with proven design leadership.

1.Lead and manage the design & R&D team for heat exchangers, HVAC, and AC systems.
2.Oversee complete product design lifecycle – concept, 3D/2D modelling, prototype, testing, validation, and final approval.
3.Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ARI, BIS, and other industry standards.
4.Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, cost, and energy efficiency.
5.Collaborate with production, quality, and project teams to resolve technical challenges.
6.Prepare and review engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
7.Liaise with customers & sales team to understand requirements and provide design solutions.
8.Research and implement new materials, technologies, and processes for innovation.
9.Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and environmental standards in designs.
10.Train, mentor, and develop design engineers within the team.
11.Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems for BOM & production planning.
12.Experience in cost optimization & value engineering.
13.Ability to handle multiple projects & client interactions simultaneously.
14.Strong analytical skills in thermal and structural analysis.

Key Skills:
1.Strong expertise in thermal design, mechanical design, CFD, and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
2.Experience in handling product development projects from concept to commercialization.
3.Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, welding, brazing, etc.).
4.Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
