Engineer – Supplier Quality MNC for Bhiwadi Location

Job Description

1.Manage supplier quality for raw materials, components, and bought-out parts.

2.Conduct supplier audits and evaluate supplier quality systems and processes.

3.Handle APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC activities with suppliers.

4.Review and approve supplier PPAP documentation as per requirements.

5.Monitor supplier PPM, rejection, defects, complaints and quality performance.

6.Conduct supplier process audits and follow up on audit findings.

7.Handle supplier quality issues through 8D, CAPA and root cause analysis.

8.Coordinate with suppliers for corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure.

9.Support new supplier development and new part development from the quality perspective.

10.Monitor incoming inspection results and analyze recurring supplier defects.

11.Visit suppliers for process verification, problem solving and quality improvement.

12.Ensure supplier compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements.

13.Maintain supplier quality records, audit reports, PPAP status and performance reports.

14.Work closely with Purchase, Production, Incoming Quality, NPD and Customer Quality teams.

15.Drive continuous improvement activities such as Poka-Yoke, Kaizen and defect reduction at suppliers.

*Required Skills*

1.Strong knowledge of Supplier Quality / SQE / SQA.

2.Good understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan and 8D.

3.Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

4.Experience in supplier audits and process audits.

5.Good knowledge of 7 QC Tools and root cause analysis.

6.Good communication and supplier coordination skills.

7.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and quality documentation.
