Engineer – Quality (Hardening Testing) MNC for Neemrana Location

Job Description

*Should have good experience in Automotive Industry*

*Job Responsibility:*

1.Perform hardness testing of heat-treated components as per drawing and customer specifications.

2.Conduct Rockwell, Vickers and/or Brinell hardness testing.

3.Check surface and core hardness of hardened components.

4.Perform case depth / effective hardening depth verification.

5.Conduct microstructure examination and identify abnormalities in hardened sections.

6.Perform first-piece, in-process and final inspection of heat-treated components.

7.Verify heat-treatment parameters such as temperature, soaking time, quenching and tempering conditions.

8.Inspect dimensions before and after hardening to identify heat-treatment distortion.

9.Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain quality records.

10.Ensure inspection instruments and testing equipment are calibrated.

11.Support SPC, MSA, Control Plan, PFMEA and process audits.

12.Participate in IATF 16949, internal, customer and process audits.
