Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Purchase (Sub -Machinery) MNC for Manesar Location

Job Description

*Should have good experience in Sub -Machinery like; CNC/VMC/HMC Machines, Fixtures, Jigs, Tooling Components*

*Key Responsibilities*

1.Handle purchase/procurement of sub-machinery, machines, equipment and production-related items.

2.Procure CNC/VMC/HMC machines, special-purpose machines (SPM), fixtures, jigs, tooling and automation equipment as per project and production requirements.

3.Prepare RFQ/RFP and float enquiries to approved and potential suppliers.

4.Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedule, warranty and commercial conditions.

5.Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, NPD and Quality for machine/equipment requirements.

6.Manage procurement of machine accessories, cutting tools, gauges, fixtures, dies, consumables and spare parts.

7.Identify and develop new suppliers for machinery, automation and engineering items.

8.Track machine/equipment delivery from PO release through installation and commissioning.

9.Handle PO creation, amendments, delivery schedules and commercial documentation.

10.Maintain procurement MIS covering open PO, delivery status, cost, savings and pending actions.

11.Resolve supplier-related issues including delayed delivery, technical deviations, warranty and service support.

12.Sub-Machinery / Equipment Knowledge

13.Candidate should preferably have exposure to procurement of: CNC Turning Machines/ VMC / HMC/ Grinding Machines

Honing Machines/ Drilling / Tapping Machines/ Press Machines
