Engineer / Sr. Engineer – RM Procurement MNC for Manesar Location

Job Description

*Should have good experience in Machining/ Precision/Hydraulic/ Tooling components*

*Key Responsibilities*

1.Manage raw material procurement as per production requirements, MRP and inventory targets.

2.Plan and procure Machining/ Precision/Hydraulic/ Tooling components direct raw materials.

3.Review MRP/Material Requirement Planning, purchase requisitions and material shortages.

4.Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) to approved suppliers.

5.Develop and maintain a strong vendor/supplier base for raw materials.

6.Conduct RFQ/quotation comparison and support supplier selection.

7.Monitor raw-material prices and support cost reduction / VA-VE initiatives.

8.Maintain optimum RM inventory, safety stock and inventory turnover.

9.Maintain procurement MIS including PO status, supplier performance, OTD, price variance and shortages.

*Required Skills*

1.Strong knowledge of RM Procurement / Direct Purchase in automotive or precision engineering.

2.Experience in procurement of Machining/ Precision/Hydraulic/ Tooling components – related raw materials.

3.Knowledge of MRP, PR, RFQ, PO, GRN and supplier scheduling.

4.Supplier development and vendor management.

5.Strong negotiation and commercial skills.

6.ERP knowledge, preferably SAP / SAP MM.

7.Good knowledge of MS Excel, MIS and procurement reports.
