Sr. Engineer / Asst. Manager – Production (Finish Operations) MNC for Manesar Location

Job Description

*Should have good experience in Machining / Precision/ Hydraulic Industry*

*JD*

1.Plan and execute daily/shift-wise production activities for CLG, Honing, Hard Turning and Grinding operations.

2.Achieve production targets as per PPM, cycle time, takt time and customer delivery requirements.

3.Monitor machine loading, manpower utilization, productivity and OEE.

4.Ensure smooth line operation and effective shift management.

5.Monitor downtime, breakdowns, changeover and tool-setting activities to minimize production losses.

6.Manage operations such as Centerless/CLG Grinding, Honing, Hard Turning and precision grinding.

7.Ensure adherence to process parameters, cycle time, tool life and machine capability.

8.Optimize cutting parameters, grinding parameters, honing parameters and tool/changeover conditions.

9.Monitor critical dimensional characteristics, surface finish, roundness, cylindricity, concentricity and profile requirements.

10.Drive initiatives for OEE improvement, cycle-time reduction, tool-life improvement and rejection reduction.

11.Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

12.Lead Kaizen, 5S, TPM and continuous improvement activities.

13Optimize machine utilization and reduce setup/changeover time.
