Job Summary:
To ensure smooth operation and maximum uptime of production machinery through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, machine improvements, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute new maintenance technologies and improvement projects.
Prepare 2D/3D machine part drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns.
Improve machine design for enhanced reliability and longer equipment life.
Develop SOPs and maintenance documentation for troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Execute preventive maintenance activities to maximize machine uptime.
Maintain machine-wise and shift-wise maintenance records.
Manage breakdown reports, PM logs, and maintenance checklists.
Control spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace discipline.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Rotary Indexing, Gearboxes, Couplings, Extensions & Joints.
Experience with Slide & Drive Assemblies.
Knowledge of Inductive, Capacitive & Photoelectric Sensors.
Hands-on experience with Solenoid Valves, Pneumatic Cylinders & Venturi Systems.
Knowledge of mechanical adjustments (Minor & Major).
Experience in Gluing Machine Operation, Setup, Troubleshooting & Preventive Maintenance.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of industrial safety practices and manufacturing standards.
