Sr. Engineer/ Asst. Manager – Electrical Maintenance for Ghiloth Location

Job Description

*Should have good Experience in Steel / Manufacturing Industry*

*JD*

*1. Operations & Maintenance*

• Supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems across production units (e.g., CTL,CRS, EMBOSSING & SHEARING MACHINE)

• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all plant equipment.

• Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, VFDs, MCCs, switchgears, and power distribution systems.

*2. Project Implementation*

• Assist in planning and executing electrical projects, including new installations, upgrades, and modifications.

*3. Troubleshooting & Analysis*

• Diagnose faults in electrical equipment and systems using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of repeated failures and implement corrective measures.

*4. Documentation & Compliance*

• Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, and spares inventory.

• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and environmental standards.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on electrical maintenance and KPIs.

*5. Team Management*

• Supervise and guide technicians and electricians.

• Conduct skill development and safety training sessions.

*Key Skills & Competencies:*

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, HT/LT networks, PLCs, SCADA, and automation.

• Hands-on experience with large motors, drives, and power systems.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and maintenance best practices.

• Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., LOTO, arc flash, etc.).

• Good communication and team management skills.
