*Key Responsibilities:*
1.Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health & safety policies in line with statutory regulations.
2.Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across plant operations, including production
3.Identify potential hazards related to machinery, chemicals, ergonomics, electrical systems, and testing operations, and recommend corrective actions.
4.Ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce adherence to safety protocols among employees and contractors.
5.Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare detailed reports and implement preventive measures.
6.Monitor and ensure compliance with fire safety systems, emergency response plans, and evacuation procedures; organize mock drills.
7.Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to promote safe work practices.
8.Maintain accurate safety records, permits, compliance documentation, and reports.
9.Drive continuous improvement through safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
